LEVEL ONE COURSE DESCRIPTION
Learn the basic skills of improvisation in a whole new way. Letter of Marque Theater Co.’s ensemble training focuses on getting the group to learn together in an energetic and welcoming environment. LOM’s “less talk-y, more do-y” approach is culled from the brilliance of Viola Spolin, Keith Johnstone, Del Close, and over 15 years of professional teaching experience.
Each section is 7 weeks long and ends in a short presentation/hang out on the last day.
This foundational course will teach you the basics of performing improv in a fresh and fun atmosphere. Learn to let go of judgment, commit to “strong and wrong,” and how to figure it out together as an ensemble
